Nine Tiny Feet

Ok, this is completely un-music related. However, I have some kind of bizarre obsession with tiny micro homes. The Tumbleweed Tiny House Company being my favorite. However, I just saw this gentleman’s blog where he is trying to imagine “extreme” living arrangements. It’s called Nine Tiny Feet, (http://www.ninetinyfeet.com). I don’t know if I could live in his bike-tow-able pie house, but I still get a kick out of looking at it lol.

I wonder if there is someway to modify a Tumbleweed home and to put a GK acoustics soundproof booth in there. Hmmm……

Pablo Amaringo

Sadness. Well, today I found out that one my favorite artists passed away. Pablo Amaringo was a Peruvian shaman and visual artist whose ayahuasca inspired paintings allowed a window into the world of the ayahuasquero. His work was most prominently featured in the book Ayahuasca Visions. Sad times indeed.

Practice Space

So, I practice in my car. I don’t have anywhere else to do it really. I can “kind of” lightly play on my electric indoors. Nevertheless, there is no way I can play my acoustic because I don’t want my neighbors on the other sides of my walls to hear me. Singing gets even more embarrassing. Today however, I found a great new spot to park my car and jam in the back seat! So far no cops this time either. Mwhahahaha! So yea, hurrah for secret practice spots.

Myspace…

Oh man, I signed up for myspace again. Scary stuff. It’s been a few years, but after some somewhat creepy lurking activity I found a few old friends of mine (physical humans, not the “myspace friends”). I’m curious to see how their music has been going. Evil social networking craziness * shudder *. All right, end of rant, back to songwriting shenanigans.

ReverbNation/CLLCT

Alrighty, I think the old songs are now up on Reverb Nation. It's a fairly interesting site I think. If nothing else, I like their mp3 player haha. And now... on to loading things into CLLCT. For those who don't know, CLLCT is a great website for free indie music. Personally, I just discovered the music of The Sarcastic Dharma Society. Oodles of awesomeness abound.
